It always seemed to me Wacom was kinda slow to get stuff out for macOS, and so maybe this will make that worse. I have to say I'm glad I made the move, although I was never a heavy Cintiq user or anything. Wacom's Bamboo driver is broken for Catalina because they no longer support Bamboo tablets, but luckily I was able to fix the driver. Stunning brightness and clearness The AG glass provides a clear screen & matte finish for paper-like drawing. Please be sure that the Huion driver is compatible with the newest Mac OS 10.15 Catalina. I have not yet seen anything that states in plain end-user language whether device drivers for 10.15 are required to be written with DriverKit or if the framework is just something newly available to developers. macOS 10.15 apparently changes the manner in which device drivers are written to a new framework known as DriverKit. I believe in most cases people said this ended up working as long as the “correct” old driver was downloaded and installed.Īn item that was not at the forefront of the WWDC 2019 opening day news seems likely to affect this subject. As of Wacoms 6.3.36 driver, we added support for. If I recall correctly we’ve had at least two threads here about using old Wacom tablets (and their old device drivers) with newer versions of macOS that Wacom doesn’t officially support. Dear Wacom Users: Apple has released the latest update to their operating system, Mac OS 10.15 Catalina.
